Dear all SAC guitarists,
27 April will be here pretty soon and we all have waited for this day. Do rest well and sleep early over the weekend, or else you will get dark circles round your eyes and i'm sure you girls don't want those to blend with your make-up on monday right? Anyway, do spend an hour or so to practise on the parts that you still need to work on, but don't OVER-PRACTISE okay? Give yourself and your fingers amble rest. I believe that we can play well and beautifully on monday. Just need to smile a little more, FEEL and MOVE along with the music more...don't be so OPPRESSED like what Mr Choo has mentioned and STONED like what Angelyn has commented. So take note on that. Just let go of yourself, let go of your nervousness and follow Mr Choo's lead, everything will be fine. Do LOOK UP more since you all have got no more files to look at, so try to LOOK UP and FOLLOW Mr Choo's conducting as much as possible. Our TOGETHER-NESS is important. WE SHALL MOVE TOGETHER, ENJOY THE TIME TOGETHER AND GO THROUGH IT TOGETHER. As some of you have mentioned or rather given feedbacks on last wednesday rehearsal, if you think that it might be too cold, please bring your jacket or hand warmer on monday. Before you go on stage, do hand exercise and stretch your fingers. DON'T EVER TELL YOUR FRIENDS THAT YOU'RE SCARED AND NERVOUS, BECAUSE THEY'RE JUST AS NERVOUS AS YOU, AND YOU'RE JUST GONNA MAKE IT WORSE BY SAYING IT OUT. NERVOUSNESS IS CONTAGIOUS! so just remain silent for a few minutes before entering the stage and calm down. Breathe deep in and tell yourself that YOU CAN DO IT! okay? My friend from Angklung told me to tell you all to just ENJOY THE MUSIC, DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE RESULT OR WHAT MEDAL WE'RE GONNA GET. So, don't be too stressed up and smile to everyone before the show starts. Okay? =)

Here's a few things all of you have to take note for Monday:

1. Bring gown and court shoes (very important! and please try your best not to crumble your gown)
2. Bring black hair rubberband and black clips
   
3. No hairband
   
4. No watches and necklaces
5. No sport bra
   
6. Remember who is sitting next to you and enter/exit stage in order
7. Look out for when Mr Choo comes out on stage and stand up together
   
8. Remember how to stand, where your hands should place on your guitar while standing (both hands on top of the guitar)
   
9. DO NOT fidgeting about (touching your hair, face etc..) at the end of the pieces or when you're standing!
   

The plan for Monday:

7:45-8:00 : Assemble at sunken foyer before proceeding to dance studio (aft assembly)
8:00-10:30 : Hair, make-up
10:30-11:00 : Collect instruments, move to AV, clean guitars and finish up the make-up
11:00-11:30 : Lunch (not provided)
11:30-12:20 : Change to gown, patch up on the make-up
12:20-12:30 : Warm up
12:30-13:30 : Dry run
13:30-13:40 : Leave school
13:40-14:30 : Reporting time
15:00 : Performance time

p.s: Please sleep early on sunday night and DO NOT BE LATE for school on Monday!
