Sorry that I had to leave halfway, and I didn't get a chance to comment on Una Noche! Basically, I don't really have much feedback for it, but I'm kinda impressed by the percussion! (: Oh yes, just remember to let the bass melody steal the limelight for that few bars (I hope you know which part I'm talking about). As for both pieces, I feel that dynamics contrast can be more daring/bold and obvious. (:(:(:

I hope you all had fun with Tiffany! Muahahaha. Please please please MEMORISE and DROWN yourself in the piece, FEEL it! You'll improve the way you present the music if you're able to listen to yourself and be critical on the sound you're producing. (Don't be afraid of moving your body a little even if you see no one is doing it) Put in this inch of effort, for your committee, your music leaders, your teachers and instructor, your seniors, the school are really supporting you all! We TRY to work towards the best, I don't want to see you girls not heading for the best, but just heading aimlessly. All the best for your upcoming assembly performances! I hope every performance and practice will trigger the urge for greater improvement from now till the SYF. Those who have participated in SYF 2007, please look back and think of what we've done then, and see if you left out any this year! I hope to hear you girls soon again (of course, with GREATer improvements)! (:(:(:

Happy Chinese New Year! Hope you all had great fun during the festive season! :DDD

The CNY performance wasn't really up to expectation, so lets work and polish our piece again before our next Assembly performance!

Practice resumes this Friday (30th Jan), 3PM, MPR2. Sec 1s (who happen to chance upon here), your first CCA practice starts this Friday as well, so please be at the MPR2 at 3pm sharp! Don't be late. Please check the CCA board for updates.
