Hello All!
Competition down. Lets move on :D SAC GE will never be affected by such situations, instead, we'll strive for the better. But anyway, the main thing was, we improved. By alot. Knowing that the percentage of our score was beyond our expectation (: All the seniors (including those who weren't around yesterday) & our teachers-in-charge are veryyyyyyy proud of us. Not kidding (: Let's not be demoralised by sarcasm & the results, we'll make a comeback next year :D Action speaks louder than words so! We'll prove to everyone that we can do it. PROPER PLANNING PREVENTS POOR PERFORMANCE :D
We'll work hard for the upcoming practices. &, YOUR ATTITUDE (ALMOST) ALWAYS DETERMINE YOUR ATTITUDE IN LIFE. So, no slacking people. Okay time for announcements. CCA on Monday, 2nd June is for everyone! Look,
E-V-E-R-Y-O-N-E. Even the secondary 4s & 5s. So i expect full attendance. It will be from 9-12. Sec 4s & 5s, please come at 10. Unless you've got a valid reason, ie holiday/sick, please pass your mc/travel doc to justina the following practice. The 6 performing for the TPJC concert this Saturday, go straight to VCH at 330pm. Remember to bring your guitar, score, gown & court shoes. Be on your best behaviour. Those going for CIP at St Joseph's Home, please hand in your consent form to me latest by Monday, 2 June, which is the next practice. Dont make life difficult for us please.

Okay, so practice today wasn't that bad. There was improvement. But still not up to standard. Please memorise 13 days in france! Look up at maria & move! Try to feel the music/mood. The competition is only a day & few hours away. Yes, your fingernails. Please shape it & cut/snip/chew/bite/clip your left fingernails! Dont bother worrying & fussing about the consequences if you dont listen to any of us. The blog seems to be alive okay. Dont say you didnt see anything posted here.
Please report to school by 730am on Wednesday cause we need to travel to ACJC. Dont be late! & for those selected music leaders peforming for the TPJC Concert on 31st May, go straight to VCH at 330pm. There won't be any transport provided. Means that you won't have to come to school. So! Bring home your guitars on Wednesday, after the competition.
Relay system has been given out to those who need it. So please forward any messages sent by us. If you are wondering if you should get hold of it or know that you need it but do not have it, please find me. I'll pass it to you. Those down for CIP at St Joseph's Home on the 7th June, please hand in the notification form asap to Amanda.
Lastly, CCA Schedule was given out today. Sec ones & those who didnt come today, the next practice is on the 2nd June, 9am-12pm. From there, we'll pass to you the CCA Schedule for the other upcoming practices.

Hey there!PLEASE SCROLL DOWN for MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS. No excuse for not knowing. All sec 3s will be down for the CIP at St.Joseph's Home on 7th June (Sat). Sec 4s, those who did not go for the March camp, you MUST go for it too. However, for the sec 4s who went for the camp yet interested in gaining more hours, you can go. So all sec 3s, sec 4s that did not go for March camp & sec 4s interested to go are to get the notification form from Mr Ng on Monday (26/5). The CIP is 3 hours long, 2 way transport.Sec 4NA, regarding the achievements for your testimonial, please refer HERE for the listing of all our participation & achievements. For 4E & 5N, DSA application has started. If interested, please get the relevant CCA records asap. A word of advice, be critical & demanding with your playing. Practise at home. We (sec 4 seniors)are all coming back on Monday. We may not be playing in the competition, but we're just as equally concerned. I hope everyone has a common goal. If everyone is united as one, 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th does not matter. Lastly, congratulations to all who were invested! ((:ANGELYN!

Salutations!Okay. Just a short one.Regarding the practice on Monday, 26th May, all Section Leaders & Committee Members are to come at 1pm instead of 2pm. For the rest of the people, report by 130pm at MPR2 with your guitars tuned. All of you need to work more on your stagecraft. Based on the assesment today, its obvious that we're lagging way behind so please, make the effort! Be serious about this. The competition is only 7 days away. & please! Come for every practice. Do not let those who have pinned high hopes on us be disappointed. Oh yes! Your fingernails! Make sure that the nails on your left hand are short. Chip/Chew/Bite/Clip/Cut it! While the ones on the right, leave it long & shape it! Your effort will be greatly appreciated.

hellooooo,
Yesterday's attendance was atrocious!! So this post goes out to mainly all those who did not turn up. Firstly, attendance these few days are rather important because our
guitar competition on the
28th may is drawing near and time is running short!! Missing yesterday's practice without a valid reason means a day of practice is gone. Btw, details about the guitar competition will be mention the next practice.
Secondly, I have given all those who turned up a notification form informing your parents that there is an extra practice on TUESDAY(20/5) from 2.30 to 5.30 for all sec twos and threes. This is in lieu of the Vesak day Holiday on the 19 May 2008 and this is
COMPULSORY!
Thirdly, on Friday(23/5) is results day so there won't be any practice. Just to let you know, ALL of you are actually suppose to come back for practice but after speaking to the TICs they agreed to give in so please come for the practice on tuesday!
Lastly, I hope all those who didn't come for cca without a valid reason will make an effort to come. Check the guitar blog and cca board for the latest updates! No excuses about not knowing when is cca. And i'll like to meet some of you on tuesday.
During the weekends can your pls kindly memorise 13 days in France and practice the other two pieces shepherd dance and a journey to spain.

heyhey!
Here's my very FIRST announcement to all of you out there!=)
Exam break is over, girls! So.. CCA has to start.(no complains pls).haha.
Ok, CCA resumes this Friday (16/5/08) from 3pm to 6pm for all sec ones to threes. Hope to see everyone seated with their guitars being tunned by 3pm which means you all got to start coming in 5 minutes before hand. The venue for the all sec ones to threes would be at the MPR2 (the usual half-half). Alrights, thats about all! Remember to be PUNCTUAL! See you all there!

Hellooo! It has been a long time. (: Congrats to the sec 1s and 2s, MYE is over! 1 more paper to go for the Upper secondary! (: Yay, finally it's gonna be over.Anyway, new committee, I need to arrange a meeting with you people. Amanda, Beatrice & Petrina will confirm the day, time, venue with you all, and they'll inform me. It has to be before next Friday. So, let me know soon.Next, a handover meeting for both the previous committee and new committee will be after 28th may (or rather, wait till the previous com esp treasurer and secretary collate the respective stuff first). It'll be approximately 90 mins hours long? Lol, and I think, we'll call in the teachers too. So, Amanda, Beatrice or Petrina, please inform them. Actually, it depends on when they're free anyway! The agenda will be out soon, by the 20th? Yah then I'll email you all, before you all go ask the teachers. Anyway, I think some of them read here too. Hahahaa. Enjoy the long weekend! If you're bored, go practise your competition pieces! (AJTS, 13 days in France & Shepherd Dance) Refresh your memory. Okay, all the seniors will pray for you people for the upcoming competition!
