Hi all,EVERYONE (except those that will be overseas on the 16th) has to report to the SUNKEN FOYER at 12.45pm this coming friday (9/11). You are to come in white top and blue jeans with covered shoes. You are to bring a scotchtape, scissors, glue and a pencil. Those who will not be performing, please photocopy your travel documents and pass it to me personally.------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Assistant-Student Conductor position is open to anyone from sec 2-3NA, who is interested to take up this role. Please note that you have to make sure you are able to commit yourself to CCA by maintaining a regular attendance. You are to have a good understanding of basic musical terms (like dynamics p, pp, ff, f, rit), rhythm and notes. I don't mean that only people with music background can apply for it. You just need to have basic musical knowledge, able to read full scores and know what each section is playing. Please remember that this is an important role, for you will be the next Student Conductor and will be conducting 2009's SYF practices when Mr Choo is not around, so please consider carefully. For sec 1s who are keen to try out this role, you will first be shortlisted for the ASC-in training position before you actually take up the role as an Assistant Student Conductor.There will be interviews conducted for all who apply for the position as well as a voting selection.
