Hey all!

Couldn't explain what was the objectives of what was being taught today, due to time constraint. Shall do it here then. The purpose of today's activity is to promote independent learning. Even if you do not get the entire thing today, I am quite certain that at least 30% of the stuff got into your head right? (I hope).

We are only left with 2 more practices, so make the best out of it! I personally feel that everyone in the ensemble should learn something new every practice. Practice lasts for 3 hours, and maybe for this day, you learnt one new italian term or one line of music out of the whole 3 hours. It does do you some justice to learn at least ONE new thing after spending 3 hours of your precious time. Of course, it'll be good if you learnt many many things, but ONE is much better than not getting anything into your head, and wasting your whole 3 hours in school. So from now onwards, can everyone learn/absorb something new every practice? (All of you really have the potential to excel further!) Section leaders, you are encouraged to use italian terms during sectionals instead of using simple terms. =D Oh yes, I'll try to recap/emphasize on certain things taught today from time to time, so that you'll be able to see the link. Section leaders, please do so too!

Okay, I know it's a long post. To end off, music leaders going for AGES, please meet at 230pm, MPR 2 for sectionals. The rest of the people, 330pm, sectionals first. Eh, I will email the section leaders on the "flow" and the venues by tomorrow. Check the CCA board on Monday on where to go! =D People who did not turn up today, hand in your MCs/travel documents to any of the presidents on Monday. You don't want people to hunt you down, do you? *winks*

Enjoy your last weekend of "holidays"!
