hey all,
please bring $24 for the niibori concert ticket tmr (28/11)! it's compulsory. those without consent forms, can you all please inform your section leaders tmr! i expect EVERYONE (except those that won't be around on the 6th of dec) to bring $24 tmr! one, it is stated in the consent form so it is YOUR OWN responsibility to take note of. two, i've also asked the section leaders to remind you all so NO EXCUSES FOR NOT BRINGING!

i mentioned that i wanna post all the pictures/videos right? but, i'm lazy! xD i think uploading pictures on friendster would be faster or you guys approach me on MSN, would be better. HELLO!
it's the end of guitar camp day 1 & 2! alright, hope you all have pick up some new playing skills or at least, learn something new. hope you all got to know more abt your seniors/juniors. i have 101 pictures/videos with me. hmm, i'm not gonna upload the pictures here today cos i think i'll put up all 3 days of pictures at one go tmr. so, you all can drop by here tmr or the weekends! tmr's the last day, so do enjoy it! =D
hmm, guitar exam is COMING REAL SOON! so the 23 ppl, do practise over the weekends! memorize your scales & pieces (for those doing performance from memory), clear all your doubts with mr choo!
just an update. the MPR 1 now has got a glass door. haha.

hello!
this is an overview of what's gonna happen next week (tuesday to friday). it's CAMP! not an overnight one though. tuesday, the 21st is only for MUSIC LEADERS (SAs & ASLs) so, those who are not please do not turn up. there won't be red carpet to send you back home. xD so for the rest of you, camp begins on the 22nd (wednesday). reporting time will be 8.15am at the sunken foyer. we'll have sectionals & ensemble, training for those who are taking the exam, games etc.
timings of dismissal are bound to vary on different days due to the activities. thus, do not follow the one on the CCA schedule for next week. we will photocopy a timetable for everyone to have a look at the various activities we will be doing.
those who will be away are to inform any sec 2 & 3 committee members by tuesday. if you did not inform us, we'll expect you to be present.

This score is upon 60 marks.
43 marks is 71%
53 marks is 88%
An overall 85% and above = distinction.
All can aim for 18 or 19 marks out of 20 for your pieces. Possible

hello! xD
all of you are to stay back after CCA tmr, (14/11) for SACPS performance rehearsal at 12 noon. you all should have been informed by your section leaders by now.
also, a contact list will be passed around during sectionals tmr to update your contact details. (section leaders are to get the contact list from shinling.) oh, and please check the blog often (especially within the next few days) for more updates on SACPS performance/exam/camp.
task for tmr!
1) get into your sections once you've collected your guitar. (don't need to gather at MPR)
alto 1 - 1/5 classroom
alto 2 - 2/6 classroom
prime 1 - 2/5 classrm
prime 2 - 3/5 classrm
prime contra & bass - 3/2 classrm (nearest to com lab)
2) section leaders will pass you the names to stick on the niibori instruments & the casing during tuning time. so while waiting for the tuners, please stick the names on your instruments. ALL instruments MUST be labelled.
3) at the end of everything (including rehearsal), ALL your instruments are to be placed at your OWN slot in the props rm. if you have 2 guitars, eg. alto & your own prime guitar, put it TOGETHER at the slot labelled YOUR NAME (it is grouped according to SYF sections).

for the SACPS performance, it is COMPULSORY for everyone to wear guitar tee! reason being, we're an ensemble, wearing the guitar tee will show our unity and tell everyone that we're a team, an ensemble! we're making music together! for those who hven't got their guitar tee for some reasons, rest assure that you'll get one on FRIDAY! please approach the wardrobe mistresses for ONE if you don't have!
